Physical properties of construction grade cellulose

1. Appearance: White or quasi-white powder.

2. Granularity; the passing rate of 100 mesh is more than 98.5%; the passing rate of 80 mesh is more than 100%.

3. Dissolve in water and some solvents, such as appropriate proportion of ethanol and water. Its aqueous solution has surface activity  , with high transparency, stable performance. The performance of HPMC of different specifications varies to some extent, and the dissolution of HPMC in water is not affected by pH value.

4. The surface activity of HPMC also decreases with the decrease of methoxy content, the increase of gel point and the decrease of water solubility.

5. HPMC also has the characteristics of thickening ability, low salt resistance, gray powder, PH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film-forming property, and extensive enzyme resistance, dispersibility and adhesion.
